Job description:

Looking for a role that fills your cup? Good news, T2 Tea is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its passionate team!

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Journals and Reconciliations for Lease Accounting
• Ensure Financial Accounting month-end close and reporting timelines are met
• Ensuring internal and external reporting requirements are adhered to (both accounting and taxation, and any further compliance) for relevant countries
• Responsibility for ensuring Balance Sheet is calculated according to relevant standards
• Fortnightly Cashflow reporting
• Ensure Financial risks are proactively detected and addressed
• Assist with completion of external audits
• Assist in managing the day-to-day treasury requirements
• Provide support and guidance to the AP function

About you

• CA / CPA qualified
• 3+ years experience in a Financial Accounting role
• Experience with AASB 16 highly regarded
• NetSuite experience highly regarded
• Strong internal control mindset
• A focus on a continuous improvement program across the short and long term
• Broad technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Advanced excel skills
