Our client is a leading supplier of solutions for fastening, fixing, installing, connecting, insulating, protecting, and identifying electrical cables and data network infrastructure. They also develop custom parts for industry-specific applications.

They are seeking a dedicated Internal Sales & Customer Service Support professional to join their team!

Location: Taren Point NSW (100% office-based)

Days and Hours: Full-Time - Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (30-min lunch)

**The hours will later adjust to 8:30am-5pm (1-hr lunch)

Temp Assignment : Ongoing as Required (Potential for future permanent role)

Responsibilities:

  • Attending to client enquiries via email and phone.
  • Entering customer orders and create picking slips and invoices for warehouse.
  • Following up with warehouse personnel in relation to sending goods to customers.
  • Responding to customer requests for pricing and stock/product enquiries or delivery requests.
  • Liaising with internal and external staff.
  • Internal Sales reporting, follow up and quote management.
  • Raising quotes for Sales team when needed.
  • Follow up late deliveries or missing deliveries with freight company.
  • Maintain and update the customer database.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Sales & Quote skills a definite advantage.
  • Confident computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent writing & presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate & communicate information effectively.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Friendly, dynamic personality.
  • Previous electrical wholesale industry experience is preferred.
