Dreampath are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand / Foreman to join our team for an exciting new project – the construction of an Indoor Firing Range for NSW Police.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art Indoor Firing Range for the NSW Police in Goulburn NSW. The facility will include advanced training areas, safety systems, and modern amenities to support the training and operational needs of the police force. As the Leading Hand / Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the construction of the Indoor Firing Range. The project is due to shortly for approx. 12 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction team.
• Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality control on-site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Resolve any on-site issues promptly to prevent project delays.

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in construction.
• Ideally from a Carpenter/Electrical trade background.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Reasonable computer skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications and training in construction safety.
