About the role

We are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team at SHS Victoria Pty LTD' based in Pakenham, Victoria. This full-time role will involve the servicing and repair of a range of motor vehicles in our well-equipped workshop. You will play a key part in keeping our fleet of vehicles running smoothly and safely.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on cars, trucks and other motor vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues
• Replace and repair parts such as brakes, clutches, engine assemblies, transmissions and more
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed
• Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle concerns
• Ensure workshop safety practices are followed at all times

What we're looking for

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with a relevant trade certificate or diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in servicing and repairing a wide range of motor vehicles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
