About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team at GCS AUTOCARE GROVEDALE'. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our valued customers in the Grovedale VIC 3216 area.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults and issues
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicles
• Performing repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Test driving vehicles to ensure all repairs and maintenance have been completed to a high standard
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
• Adhering to all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge and skills in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised automotive equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Dedication to providing high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
