About The Jarrahdale Tavern

The historic Jarrahdale Tavern is situated in the beautiful hill side timber town of Jarrahdale, just 45km South-East of Perth CBD. The Tavern's rich history dates back to 1886 – where it started it trading days as a guest house & kitchen to the thriving timber production community.

Some 130 years on & The Jarrahdale Tavern features a spacious beer garden, children’s playground & stunning scenery. If the kids are a little furrier then most, then you can bring them to the pub too, as we have a dog friendly section of the beer garden.

Great views are not the only thing on the menu as the kitchen pumps out full food service & great meals 7 days a week

The Tavern offers up some great live music options with our Open Mic Night showcasing talented artists & features on the last Saturday night of every month from 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring efficiency & adherence to company standards
• Manage & motivate a team of employees, provide guidance, training & support
• Handle customer enquiries, comments, complaints & requests promptly & professionally.
• Assist in onboarding, training & evaluating staff performance
• Implement & enforce company policies & procedures
• Cash control & daily reconciliation
• Stock controls
• Be creative & trade driven to ensure the venues success

Skills & Qualifications:

• WA Approved Manager & experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• First Aid Certificate or proof of training
• Cocktail experience
• Willingness & ability to work in a face paced environment
• Excellent leadership & communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues
• Ability to remain calm & composed under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, POS software applications
• Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends & holidays
