About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lawyer to join our expanding in-house legal team. In this role, you will work closely with our Legal Manager to support all legal aspects of Supavest’s dynamic property investment solutions, ensuring these solutions remain robust and compliant. If you have 3-5 years of property law experience, a passion for innovative legal solutions, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to property investments.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all property transactions adhere to state and federal regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on property acquisitions (predominantly vacant land).
- Settlement management: Conduct and manage a high volume of settlements via PEXA across all Australian jurisdictions.
- Collaboration & Support: Provide active support to the legal team and engage with other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
- Research & Analysis: Stay updated with changes in property law and emerging legal trends that impact our business.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience: 3-5 years practicing property law and conveyancing.
- Legal Qualifications: A recognized law degree and current admission to practice.
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to building genuine relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong IT literacy with an aptitude for learning new legal technologies and applications.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous analytical skills ensuring accuracy in every detail.
- Adaptability: Enthusiasm, confidence, and a positive energy that thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
