YOUR NEW ROLE

As a valued Lawyer in their winning Property Team reporting to an industry-leading partner, you will love the high autonomy+ challenge+ satisfaction of managing your own conveyancing files from start (pre-exchange) to settlement/post-settlement (predominantly residential developments/off-the plans+ some commercial property). Specifically, you will be:

• liaising with clients/solicitors/banks/real estate agents, preparing sale contracts/other property related documents/correspondence, advising on/reviewing/negotiating terms of purchase contracts, liaising with outgoing/incoming mortgagees, preparing settlement figures, attending to exchange+ settlement and finalising post-settlement matters including registration.

PLUS…..only IF you desire a broader variety, you can also engage in some NON-CONVEYANCING property cases (eg commercial/retail leases, put/call options, property due diligence, local government/planning/strata issues, consolidations/partitions/subdivisions). easements/covenants

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:

• are an admitted lawyer in NSW ;
• have minimum 2+ years (OR MORE) NSW conveyancing experience in residential (including off-the plan developments-ESSENTIAL) and some commercial property (preferable not essential);
• have some experience in interstate non-NSW conveyancing+ non- conveyancing property eg leases (preferable not essential);
• have a proven success running your own NSW conveyancing files from start (initial client enquiry/pre-exchange) to finish (settlement/post-settlement) with minimal supervision;
• are super organised, can handle a minimum of 20-25+ files at any given time, are dead-line driven+ have excellent communication and people skills;
• are client-centric + results-focused+ high attention to detail;
• have strong MICROSOFT OFFICE (Word/ Outlook) skills+PEXA (essential);
• Are seeking a long-term career as a property lawyer where you can fulfil your true POTENTIAL.
