Workfast is looking for a Spray Seal Operator to join a high-profile runway project at a defence base site in Nowra, NSW. If you are an experienced operator in the asphalting industry, we want to hear from you!

What You Need

• Experience: Previous experience operating spray seal machinery in asphalting or civil construction projects
• HC Drivers licence - MUST
• Tickets: Relevant certifications (e.g., Roller, Excavator, Traffic Control)
• Medicals
• Must be able to pass a Police Clearance - Non Negotiable
• Availability: Immediate availability preferred
• Safety Requirements: Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols, especially in a high-security environment such as a defense base

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating and maintaining spray seal equipment to apply bituminous materials on the runway construction site
• Ensuring even coverage of materials for high-quality results
• Coordinating with the team to prepare surfaces and mix materials
• Adhering to site-specific safety protocols, particularly within the defense base
• Conducting routine checks and performing maintenance on equipment
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area, following company and site-specific safety procedures
