About The Business
Based in Caringbah Sydney, Cuisine Corp is a well known manufacturer of handmade gourmet foods in Australia. Our customers include Retail Market (FMCG) with Independents, Food Service & Airlines.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated individual (Victoria) to service existing customers and win and retain new business in the Retail FMCG Markets. Our territory includes whole of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland & South Australia. The position requires some interstate travel for a few days at a time.
Your Role
Your role will be to liaise with new and existing customers and Group Management; to ensure their needs both present and future are being met. You will be required to show increased growth within your territory through value adding to the current customer base, as well as prospecting to bring new business. Our current customers are mostly independents in Retail e.g. IGAs, Foodworks, Foodlands, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Good interpersonal skills a must and Self-starter with a professional approach to prioritizing and managing your work load
- Personal and flexible approach
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- A proven track record in FMCG sales
- Ability to negotiate with buyers & group head office personnel.
- Hold a current and valid full driver's license
- Strong organizational, time management and territory management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Accountable for your own results with a strong and consistent work ethic reflected in your ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- A candidate with a Independent Retail Channels will be highly regarded.
- Willing to Travel to country sides of Victoria & NSW as per your position.
- Deli & Meals Market experience is an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain weekly/monthly call cycle to ensure customer expectations are met
- Secure new business with customers while maintaining existing orders
- Actively utilize key selling programs to build sales in existing and new customers
- Identify and pursue potential areas for growth
- Advise customers of the total Cuisinecorp Product Range & Concepts in FMCG market.
- Identify and manage low yield customers into a more profitable trading relationship.
- Maintain our Retail Concepts and Setups in Delis across your State.
- Participate in relevant Trade Shows as required across the country.
- Maintain relationships with our logistics partners.
- Maintain strong channels of communication with appropriate departments of Head Office related to Sales.
