About the role

Total Restorations Group is seeking an experienced Restoration Administration professional to join our team in Ormeau, Queensland on a casual basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our Restoration division, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines, and deadlines.
  • Act as a point of contact for scheduling inquiries, ensuring clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, unforeseen issues, or changes in project scope.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all restoration work, and providing detailed reports
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the restoration process, using creative and effective solutions.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the restoration process
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and making sure the restoration process runs smoothly.
  • Collaborating with the wider Restoration team to ensure seamless project delivery
  • When applicable, assist with travel arrangements by scheduling transportation, accommodations, and related activities
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within the restoration or construction industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, and to effectively manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A calm and concise phone manner will be required as Insureds are often experiencing distress at the time of first contact.
  • Proficiency in using common office software such as Microsoft Office
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks
