About the opportunity
Position: Registrar or Principal House Officer
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary Full-time and/or Part-time up to six (6) months, hours negotiable.
Location: Medical Imaging Department, Townsville University Hospital
What's on offer?
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $16,273 p.m.
- Salary range: $4966.90 to $5758.70 p.f. (full-time) or $65.35 - $75.77 p.h. (part-time) (L4-L9).
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- On-call and shift allowances may be applicable to this position.
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options and flexible work arrangements may be available.
About the role
- Ensure clinical radiology services support effective flows through emergency, inpatient and outpatient service areas.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Attend tutorials, participate and present at ground round, attend compulsory courses, and participate in on-the-job training in order to meet college requirements and develop clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participate in the provision of a shift roster to provide services out of hours, at night and on weekends.
Role requirements
- MBBS or equivalent (AMC).
- Minimum of two years post-graduate clinical medical experience.
- Australian Permanent Residency Status or Current work visa.
- General Registration with the Australian Medical Board/ AHPRA (no restrictions).
- English language sills testing pass level as per AHPRA.
- If appointee is not accepted into a recognised vocational college training program – employment will be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration with be at PHO Level (L4-L7).
