About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Qualified Horticulturist to join Acorn Nursery. This role combines your expertise in horticulture with a hands-on approach to customer service, ensuring our customers receive the best advice and products for their gardening needs. This role involves weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

🌱 Provide expert advice on plant selection, care, and maintenance
🛒 Assist customers with product recommendations and purchases
📦 Maintain stock levels, displays, and plant health in-store
🤝 Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships
📝 Process sales transactions and manage inventory

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualification in Horticulture & Previous retail experience, preferably in a nursery or garden centre
✅ Strong plant knowledge and a passion for gardening
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Physically fit for lifting and maintaining stock
