Salary: $126,720.88 - $129,314.15 (pro-rata) + super

About the role
- Providing senior nursing experience to the GLAD (GP Liaison in Alcohol and Other Drugs) Project.
- Demonstrate advanced evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment knowledge in the provision of client care, as well as advanced strategic planning and management for local services.
- The GLAD project aims to support better collaboration between specialist Drug and Alcohol Services (DAS) and General Practice within the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN)
- Improving care for individuals with drug and alcohol issues leading to better client experience and health outcomes.
- Provides care coordination for clients with Drug and Alcohol, develops care plans in consultation with key internal/external parties, focusing on harm reduction principles
About you
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
- At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
- Approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she/they are appointed or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
