As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our Warehousing Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-growing industry where you can build a long-term career.
About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock movement, and supporting the Inventory Controller with stock audits, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming goods for correct labelling, quantity, and potential damage or contamination, escalating any non-conformances
- Conduct sampling of goods and present them to Quality Assurance before release
- Monitor inventory levels and track inbound/outbound orders
- Perform regular stock checks and report discrepancies
- Maintain and update inventory management systems
- Assist in monthly physical inventory counts and audits
- Ensure any inventory variances are identified and resolved promptly
- Organize and oversee the packaging, shipment, and delivery of products
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Adhere to all regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to lift up to 20kg, use small ladders, navigate stairs, and operate warehouse equipment (trolleys, lifts, dollys)
- Open driver’s license for occasional deliveries
- Positive attitude and ability to foster a strong workplace culture
- Ability to liaise professionally with internal and external contacts
