About the role
Brewtech Pty Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist with a passion for our industry to join a diverse, energetic team.
As an Inventory Controller (IC) at Brewtech, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's inventory and supply chain operations. This full-time position is based in Kensington, VIC 3031. Role hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and coordinate all inventory-related activities, including purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution
- Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise waste.
- Collaborate with state branches to align inventory with customer demands and business requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, using inventory management systems and reporting tools.
- Conduct regular stock takes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to team members on inventory management best practices.
What we're looking for
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply chain management. Experience within the manufacturing/service industry will be highly favourable.
- Strong knowledge of coffee machines and its spare parts, including sourcing, stock control, and distribution.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders, implementing change initiatives while ensuring full organisational buy-in.
- Proven expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, inventory optimisation, and logistics coordination.
- Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and decision-making skills with a focus on data-driven supply chain management.
- Hands-on & collaborative team working skills
- Strong project management skills
