Forensic Science Queensland (FSQ) is undergoing a significant organisational transition, moving from Queensland Health to the Department of Justice. This is a complex workforce and structural change, requiring strong leadership in organisational change management to ensure a smooth transition for staff and stakeholders.
As the Organisational Change Manager, you will drive change management strategies, ensure staff are engaged and supported, and minimise disruption while embedding new structures, processes, and ways of working.
You will work closely with leaders, employees, and external partners to identify and address change impacts, provide strategic advice, and develop tailored communication and engagement strategies.
You will:
• Design and implement organisational change management plans to support the FSQ transition.
• Lead change impact assessments, workforce transition planning, and business readiness activities.
• Develop and deliver communication, engagement, and training strategies to support staff and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage change risks and challenges, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Provide strategic advice to leaders on best-practice change management (ADKAR/PROSCI).
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, fostering a positive transition experience.

• Proven experience in leading organisational change in complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A structured approach to change management, including experience with frameworks like ADKAR or PROSCI.
• A people-first mindset, with a strong focus on employee experience and business readiness.
• Resilience and adaptability, thriving in fast-moving, high-impact change initiatives.
