We are The Stirling Arms Hotel, a large independently owned pub in the historic town of Guildford, right on the doorstep to the beautiful and popular Swan Valley, only 20 minutes from the Perth CBD. We are passionate about providing great food and drinks, and want to steer the pub into becoming a great local corner pub that showcases WA produce.

We’re looking to add a pizza chef / CDP to our team. We want someone who shares our love for good food and good times. Our new gas and wood fired pizza kitchen runs independently in the beer garden, so being able to chat to customers is a must! The role will also include working with the normal kitchen team during any down time.

We're looking for like minded people who are looking to come on a journey as we start to grow, and will be focusing on finding the right people to join the team. Our aim is to offer our guests a great standard of Aussie pub food and delicious pizzas with our house made dough.

Some of the responsibilities:

• Running the pizzeria operations
• Investing time into making our own dough and fresh ingredients
• Chatting to customers as they come up to view the pizza oven
• Folding into general kitchen duties in down time
• Kitchen cleaning procedures and schedules

A bit about you:

• Previous experience with pizza section, dough and pizza ovens
• Previous experience in fast paced, high volume kitchens ideal
• Bonus if you have a passion for dough and breads
• Passionate, positive, organised, calm under pressure & quality-focused.
• Customer first mentality with the ability to motivate and lead your team
