About the role
We are seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our talented culinary team at Carmela Nonna of Piccolina' in the vibrant suburb of Double Bay, NSW. As a fulltime Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for crafting delicious, authentic Italian pizzas that delight our customers. What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Italian pizzas to the highest standards
- Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all pizzas leaving the kitchen
- Maintaining a clean and organised work station to adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and efficiency
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pizza Chef in an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant
- Strong knowledge of traditional Italian pizza making techniques and recipes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well in a team
- Passion for creating high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Food safety certification and experience working in a commercial kitchen
