About the Position
The City is seeking organised and energetic individuals to join the City of Wanneroo to work in a casual capacity as Administration Officer - Relief.
Whilst the role is casual and hours are unable to be guaranteed – we are seeking applications from suitably qualified Administration Officers who are available to work Monday to Friday between the hours 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The successful appointees will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and general clerical duties for various service units across the organisation, covering absences and short-term vacancies. Relief appointments are generally for periods of one to six weeks, working 37.5 hours / week for each assignment.
The Administration Officer (Relief) works closely with Service Units to:
- Compile, maintain and distribute documents to support the service of the unit.
- Act as a point of contact for the unit and coordinate customer requests ensuring information is accurate.
- Arrange meetings, agenda's and minutes.
- Coordinate appointments and process records.
- Complete routine finance transactions and purchasing requirements.

Suitable applicants will be maintained in a pool for 12-months and may be contacted over the 12-month period when opportunities within the relief team arise. Applicants may be required to undergo a medical assessment to determine their fitness to carry out the duties of this position.
