The Venue

Set along the bustling strip of Smith Street, Fitzroy, our New York style loft venue exudes a relaxed atmosphere with stunning food, drinks and interiors! Housed within an early 1900’s textile factory named ‘Panama House’, you will be struck by the spacious and atmospheric nature of our venue, punctuated by floor-to-ceiling arch windows that offer picturesque views of the surrounding suburbs.

We are a restaurant, a bar, and an events space, all in one picturesque venue.

The Role

As the Venue Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, working hand in hand with all key stakeholders to create a fun and highly unique experience. We require you to bring the skills to drive a small team in delivering exceptional products and service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role, with a strong focus on large, private events
• Would be competent with rostering and recruitment, along with implementing policies and procedures
• Would have a sound understanding of mixology, along with a genuine love of wine, cocktails and spirits
• Would be great at managing, training and developing a strong team culture of respect and focus
• Would be focussed on achieving amazing service standards that go above and beyond expectations
• Would be a professional communicator and proficient up-seller, who will help drive the business forward
• Must be willing to embrace weddings and corporate events, as they the ‘bread and butter’ of our business model
