We’re on the lookout for a Tester & Developer Support professional to join the Infocouncil Team! If you love digging into software, finding bugs before they become problems, and ensuring smooth releases, this might be the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct system tests, smoke tests, and 3rd party integration testing. You'll detect, track, and report software defects to help improve our products.
• Supporting the Development Team – From maintaining 3rd party systems to ensuring smooth release processes, you'll be the go-to for keeping everything running smoothly.
• Application InstallerMaintenance: Evolve the installer and configurations, stay current with requirements and maintain currency of code signing certificates.
• Release Management: Build software release packages, prepare release notes, and help streamline deployment for our clients.
• Power BI & Reporting: Maintain and develop reports to provide key insights and support decision-making.
• Occasional Research: Stay ahead of emerging Microsoft 365 features and conduct research to support innovation.

What you Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Experience in software testing, specifically in a Windows desktop environment
• Experience with InstallShield or similar installer authoring tools
• Ability to write high-quality test scripts and documentation
• Understanding of software development lifecycles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with database environments and a keen eye for detail
• A solutions-driven mindset with a customer service focus

Bonus if you also have:

• Knowledge of Power BI
• Experience using EDRMS (Content Manager, Objective, M Magiq, ECM)
• Worked in local government governance
