Your new role
In your new role as a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for organising, managing and scheduling workflows within the production team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Creating and managing production schedules: Developing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to coordinate the production process.
- Optimising workflow: Ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, and that production processes are optimised for efficiency.
- Handling production issues: Addressing any unforeseen problems that arise during production, reallocating resources as needed.
- Communicating updates: Providing status updates and communicating any changes in the production schedule to the team.
- Reviewing and improving processes: Analysing production processes to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to team members
What you'll need to succeed
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling tools (SAP experience highly advantageous!)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to manage dynamic production needs.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively across departments.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
