Due to growth in the business we have an exciting opportunity for a full time receptionist/administration assistant to join our team at Hervey Bay Tax Solutions.
Offering a full time position at 38 hours per week the successful candidate will be completing tasks for both businesses. Tasks to be performed in this role are:
- Liaising with clients in person and over the phone
- Responding to emails
- Onboarding new clients
- Preparing appointment documents for the accountant
- Scanning and filing
- Data entry
- Receiving payments from clients
- Diary management
- Verifying client identity
- Other general reception and administration duties
We're seeking candidates that have the following attributes:
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail and be well organised
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Willingness to learn
- The ability to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving
- The ability to multi-task will be essential as the position requires jumping between tasks, interruptions with phone calls and urgent emails coming in
- Reliability, punctuality and the will to work full time
- Must have completed year 12 studies
The following would be highly regarded but not necessary for the right candidate:
- Prior experience in an administration role, particularly in another accounting practice, however, we are open to considering entry level candidates also
- Certificate II or above in Business Administration
Remuneration will be determined by the level of experience and qualifications held by the successful candidate.
