We’re a global actor with a local presence with committed engineers working across the country. Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.

QR_ is currently expending its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Production Engineer join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing production/process improvement activities
• Application of contemporary manufacturing methodologies to support major facility expansions
• Create production/manufacturing documentation
• Deliver complex projects within budgeted costs and schedule
• Identify areas of process improvement and seek to implement agreed changes
• Identify and reduce bottlenecks within the production processes

Must have:

• 3+ years' experience in either Heavy or Automotive manufacturing industries
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Mechanical, electrical, Process, Manufacturing, etc.)
• Ability to obtain or already has an Australian Defence Security Clearance
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing engineering and production BOMs and Production routing using SAP
  

Nice to have:

• Experience coordinating project teams
• Experience performing process improvement studies and implementing improvements based on investigations
• Experience delivering complex manufacturing projects
• Experience owning the technical documentation related to the project
• Experience in new product development and prototyping
• Experience performing FATs and SATs for new equipment
