Classification: YA39 -YA48
Salary per week (exc. super): $2,534.00 - $3,329.20
Hours per fortnight: 80 Hours (Includes an ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

The Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness (FaPMI) program aims to promote the wellbeing of consumers who are parents, their children, and their families through timely, coordinated, preventative, and supportive approaches. The FaPMI Community Development Worker (CDW) will work closely with the FaPMI Coordinator/s and assist with targeted program activities. The FaPMI CDW worker will provide a stronger focus on supporting children and young people, including young carers. The worker will utilise established service connections, build others, and work directly with young carers to provide linkages to assist them in developing strong support networks.
The FaPMI CDW worker will be located with the Mental Health Professional Development Unit (MHPDU) and report operationally to the FaPMI coordinator/s with management oversight by the Manager of MHPDU.
Note: Children, young people, and young carers refer to children and young people who are impacted by or provide care in relation to the mental illness of their parent or other family member.
