Family Partnership Worker - Australian Family Partnership Program(AFPP)

Full-time, 38 hours a week

About the Role

As a Family Partnership Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering the Australian Family Partnership Program (AFPP), working alongside a Nurse Home Visitor to providementorship, parenting support, and culturally safe guidance from pregnancy through the child’s second birthday.

This role is all about building relationships, connecting families to essential services, and promoting healthy pregnancies and child development. You’ll engage with parents through home visits, community events, and health check-ups, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to create a strong future for their children.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting families and empowering communities. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Community Services or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Lived experience in caregiving, mentoring, or community support
  • A strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, values, and parenting practices
  • The ability to build relationships, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate effectively
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and work as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and client management systems
  • The ability to travel for training as needed

Competitive pay and conditions based on the SCHADS Award L2PP1 – L2PP4 (based on

qualifications and experience).

Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.
