About the Role
This Sales Enablement Officer provides critical administrative and reporting support to the Head of Enterprise sales leader/s and their team. This support will enable AIM’s enterprise team to work efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a high attention to detail, excellent organisational and task management skills, experience with sales reporting and metrics in Salesforce and strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others. The role will also be responsible for mapping and documenting key sales processes so the ability to write and present complex information clearly and succinctly will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting
- Develop and maintain accurate Salesforce reports and dashboards relating to key sales metrics
- Leading on the investigation, evaluation and interpretation of data on an ad hoc basis and for key projects
- Lead on accuracy of Salesforce data entry, identifying and working with IT and the sales team to streamline this
- Maintain template Salesforce reports for team access, providing training and support to team members with their specific reporting requirements
- Provide formal weekly reporting to Head of Sales - Enterprise on team and individual performance
- Provide formal monthly reporting to Head of Sales – Enterprise and Finance team on commissions for sales team
- Fulfil adhoc reporting requests from Head of Sales, working alongside IT & AIM’s Business Analyst for more complex requests.
Sales Process
- Review current documentation and create standards for quotes, proposals, client template emails, facilitator biographies and any other documents identified
- Solve ad hoc queries, using established rules, and escalating where appropriate (ownership disputes, approval requests etc)
- Update and be responsible for disseminating/clarifying information on rules of engagement within Enterprise team and between other internal teams.
- Lead on sharing of key information with Enterprise Sales team via MS Teams and Outlook updates
- General administration duties as required by the Head of Sales, Enterprise
Knowledge Management
Responsible for creating and maintaining an Enterprise sales knowledge base:
- Create clear process documentation (written and video), ensuring collaboration with internal stakeholders for accuracy and consistency across teams
- Maintain quality and accuracy of knowledge base with quarterly reviews and updates and version control
- Provide team training sessions on key processes – adhoc in response to need and scheduled
Collaborate on on/off boarding of sales team members through:
- Delivery of components of onboarding plan and check ins for 3 months for each new starter
- Lead on training of key sales processes
- Co-ordinate the administration required in on/off boarding (account transfers, access, etc)
Experience and Skills Required
- Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to train others
- Proven analytical background
- Project co-ordination skills
- Good knowledge of business processes and the interactions between different functional areas
- Ability to develop productive working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly when faced with new problems
- Strong business focus with the ability to identify opportunities and improvements
- Ability to intimately understand issues and advocate fixing issues at source in order to minimize downstream impacts and ‘work arounds’ and ensure quality real time data.
