Leading insurance business is seeking a senior delivery professional to lead an integration program including project planning, project implementation and hypercare in relation to the recent acquisition of another business.
The right person will ensure delivery of these programs to meet key milestones.
- Lead integration program office for Consumer and integration cross-functional team fostering effective collaboration, resolving dependencies and conflicts.
- Responsible for the high-level planning and delivery of the integration project.
- Effectively managing multiple workstreams, and interdependencies across the program
- Develop and implement appropriate programme governance.
- Develop, own, and manage project reporting including status updates to programme stakeholders addressing challenges and risks proactively.
- Recommend and propose decisions during the lifecycle of the program.
- Facilitate discussions to answer questions and remedy programme issues and risks and create and nurture effective communication within the program.
- Ensure effective risk identification, management, mitigation and reporting.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management and communication.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Ensure the needs and issues of all stakeholders are assessed, understood and documented.
- Manage and cultivate productive working relationships for the transaction counterparties, to ensure successful delivery of integration programmes.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external providers supporting or being engaged to support dedicated projects.
The right candidate will have:
- Experience in a program lead relationship role for a complex, matrixed general insurance organisation.
- Demonstrated experience of completing projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.
- Strong understanding of Program and Business strategic direction and capable of discussing these and applying them to process design.
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to liaise with business effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving and attention to detail, including the ability to process and analyse complex information and data.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple areas and work in a fast moving, complex, large corporate environment.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and consulting skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
The right candidate will likely have led complex programs within general insurance and will have experience working on merger and acquisition programs. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract and will pay up to circa $350K as a total package.
