About the Roles

We are on the lookout for Full time Assistant Venue Manager to lead the Espy team at the Manly Pavilion Precinct. The Assistant Venue Manager is responsible for leading the venue team to ensure amazing customer service, a best in class experiences and to maintain a great team culture. In this role you will be responsible for :

• People management practices including recruitment, onboarding, training and development for the Front of House team;
• Food and beverage standards and customer experience at the Espy;
• Delegating roles and duties to the FOH team members as per service requirements;
• Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to guests at all times in accordance with The Boathouse Group’s standards;
• Ensure the overall cleanliness, maintenance and presentation of event areas is to a very high standard.

About you

To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will have prior experience in a comparable role within a hospitality business where you’ve used your good time management and organisational skills and shown excellent leadership. You’ll also:

• Be highly professional and customer oriented;
• Have people management skills which are developing;
• Be confident, calm and approachable;
• Be motivated to continue growing and developing your career with an excellent business;
• Hold a valid RSA and First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain;
• Be available to work on nights and weekends.
