About the Role:
Core Talent is partnering with a prestigious construction company in North Sydney, recognised for delivering exceptional projects across various industries. With a solid history of success, the company are now seeking an organised and proactive Administration Officer to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success. This is a short term, tempoary office-based role based in Western Sydney.
Role Overview:
As an Administration Officer, you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the smooth running of daily office operations by offering comprehensive administrative support. You will collaborate closely with the Office Manager to streamline processes and maintain efficient office functions. This position is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination & Administrative Support: Organise staff events, manage office supplies, and provide general administrative support as needed.
- Systems Management: Conduct inductions, audits, and maintain training registers.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the company's LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, helping with content creation and posting.
- Client & Supplier Liaison: Serve as a contact for clients and suppliers, handle inquiries, and ensure timely delivery of documents and information.
- Office Management & Facility Coordination: Order office supplies, coordinate maintenance, and ensure the office environment is functional and well-maintained.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Support health and safety initiatives, conduct inductions, manage incident reports, and help with safety training.
- General Administrative Support: Provide support in managing calendars, answering calls, preparing reports, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
About You:
- At least 2 years of experience in administration or business support.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience in financial administration and systems coordination is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, MS Office, and social media platforms is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A proactive, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and an aptitude for learning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
