About the role

Coldstream Primary School OSHC and Early Years is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our dynamic team. This full-time or part-time position will involve working with young children aged 0-12 years in our Early Years, funded 3 & 4 Year old Kinder and OSHC programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care, supporting the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of each child. This is a maternity leave role for 12 months with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right person.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences to meet the individual needs of children
• Observing children's development and progress, and using this information to inform curriculum planning
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Building positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
• Participating in regular professional development to continuously improve practice
• Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and policies

What we're looking for

• Relevant Early Childhood qualification Diploma
• Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Valid Working with Children Check
