About the role

Rosebud Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Diploma Educator to join our dynamic, caring team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in our centre located in Rosebud, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that support children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
• Building warm, nurturing relationships with children and supporting their individual needs
• Observing children's progress and development, and documenting this in individual learning portfolios
• Collaborating with parents and families to ensure a consistent approach to each child's care and education
• Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment
• Adhering to all legal requirements and centre policies and procedures
• Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care or preschool setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A deep understanding of early childhood development and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Demonstrated commitment to upholding high standards of care and safety
• A positive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to your work
• A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
