Part-Time Offering: 22.5 hours weekly over 3 days, working from home as an option

Your new company. Join a leading agency dedicated to fostering Australia-Indonesia relations through exchange programs and development initiatives. Our client manages annual grant programs and procurement arrangements, providing crucial support for various Australia-Indonesia programs.

Your new role. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced procurement officer to join the team of our client on a part-time basis from 1 April to 31 June 2025, with the possibility of an extension. In this role, you will provide financial and corporate support for programs funded through Official Development Assistance, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft grant and procurement documentation in compliance with Commonwealth Grant Rules and Principles, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Support grant and contract management, including monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities.
  • Undertake administrative support for grant and procurement-related activities, including using financial management systems such as SAP Contracts and SAP Gui.
  • Liaise with relevant areas to support program activities.
  • Support board travel arrangements, meetings, and visits.

Skills and Competencies

  • Financial and corporate support experience, including procurement and contracting qualifications and/or experience.
  • Grant and program management support experience.
  • Experience with financial management systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
