The Role
As an Accommodation Operations & Systems Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing accommodation logistics and data systems for the HSP. You will support client settlement processes, coordinate housing arrangements, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure clients have a smooth transition into safe, sustainable housing.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2025, based in Brisbane.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support accommodation services, including booking cultural support workers and managing logistics.
- Maintain accurate data in client and property management systems (CSNet and Console).
- Establish and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including landlords and service providers.
- Coordinate initial settlement support, including preparing tenancy documentation and service confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with reporting, audit, and contract management requirements.
- Contribute to risk management initiatives and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Business, Communications, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in client services, logistics, or data management in a multicultural setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and National Police Clearance required.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with humanitarian or culturally diverse communities.
- Knowledge of settlement services and property management systems.
