Our client is a local council in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs who have a vacancy for a Library Resources Coordinator. Hours of work are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will be working in a modern library that offers the community various facilities such as - study areas, meeting rooms, 3D printer, family digitisation station and a dedicated childrens section. Along with all that there are books, ebooks, magazines and multimedia resources that cater to all age groups and interests.

This role is a key management position and day to day will involve -

• Assisting implement exciting technology and collection initiatives
• Drive operational improvements
• Managing administrative processes
• Implementing policies
• Motivating the team
• Providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Essential criteria for this role -

• University level qualification in Library and Information Studies, Technology or other relevant area of study / experience
• 3-5 years experience in collection management, budget management, project management and staff supervision, with proven capacity to lead and develop staff
• Current working with children check
