Milk Chocolate is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to drive outstanding outcomes for our clients and internal build team. In this role, you’ll oversee a range of projects, from cosmetic renovations to structural works and new builds, managing planning, estimating, and coordination to ensure high-quality results.

This role uniquely blends client-side project management, acting as the client’s representative, with hands-on project delivery, working closely with our QLD-based builder (launching in Q2 2025) to maintain operational efficiency and uphold exceptional construction standards.

This position offers room for growth, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the business expands. Initially, you’ll need to dive in and get your hands dirty, managing every aspect of your projects to deliver excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and scope.
• Prepare budgets, detailed scopes of work, and construction timelines using project management tools.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trades to maintain quality standards and efficient delivery.
• Lead tenders, negotiate with stakeholders, and manage project documentation.
• Assess maintenance needs for newly acquired and managed properties, providing cost estimates and scopes of work.
• Expand our network of trusted trades across multiple states.
• Partner with the internal builder to manage resources, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualification in Building and Construction Management (Diploma/Degree).
• 4+ years of experience in construction project management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Current white card, car, and driver’s licence.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
