About the Role:
We are looking for a highly professional and proactive sales support specialist to join our team. As the School Engagement Consultant, you will play a crucial role in engaging schools, nurturing relationships, and supporting the sales process for our world-class educational assessment solutions.
As the first point of contact for many schools, you will be responsible for outreach and lead generation, cold and warm calling, follow-ups, and account coordination—ensuring that prospective and existing clients receive exceptional service from their first interaction with us. You will also support the School Partnerships Executives by managing sales administration, coordinating communication, and ensuring seamless account management.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a warm, engaging communication style, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, who thrives in a role that blends customer engagement with high-quality sales and administrative support.
We welcome applications from candidates based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and/or South Australia. We offer flexible working arrangements, with the ability to work remotely and structure your schedule to suit both your lifestyle and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Outreach & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective schools, engaging with decision-makers through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Conduct proactive cold and warm calling to generate leads, introduce our solutions, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Follow up on inbound inquiries and nurture relationships with prospective schools.
Sales & Account Support
- Assist the Head of Global Sales & School Partnerships Executive by coordinating communications, handling initial sales conversations, and managing follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, ensuring all touchpoints with schools are documented and tracked.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress effectively through the funnel.
- Provide timely information and insights to sales executives to support strategic account management.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build trust and rapport with school contacts, ensuring they receive high-quality support and timely responses.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure smooth handover and execution of assessment solutions for schools.
- Assist in coordinating contracts, agreements, and onboarding processes for new clients.
Market Insights & Process Improvement
- Stay informed on education sector trends and common challenges that schools face in assessment and data analysis.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve engagement efforts.
Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales support, customer service, or business development role, ideally within the education, assessment, or EdTech space.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional, warm, and engaging approach
- Strong ability to proactively engage in outreach activities, including cold and warm calling, lead generation, and follow-ups.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with experience in CRM management and pipeline tracking.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
- A passion for education, sales, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
