Senior Dairy Farm Hand

Location: Quinalow, QLD 4403

Tenure: Full-time, Permanent Competitive remuneration package. Prefer a couple. Part-time work for partner.

This full-time permanent position includes a range of knowledge, experience and responsibilities in the following areas: -

• Feed management and delivery

• Tractor and mixer wagon driving

• Experience in operating & Maintaining farm machinery

• Proficiency in general farm maintenance tasks such as fencing & welding

• Herd health and animal husbandry

• Cow observations

• Heifer management

• Milking

• Managing teams

• Vaccination/record keeping

• Work, health and safety standards and requirements

• Current Driver's License

• Contribute to the team in a specific role, providing input an assisting other team members.

• Working at times without supervision

We require a person with experience and a desire to work to the best of their ability to achieve a high standard of work individually and in a small team.
