Role Overview

As an Intermediate Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations. Mentored by our senior engineering team with backgrounds in tier-one consultancies, you will gain exposure to all aspects of solar renewable projects. This diverse and engaging role offers you the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of our projects, working both in the office and on-site to deliver engineering solutions and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering design, assessment, analysis, computations, and reports.
• Work on existing and new steel, timber, and concrete structures.
• Coordinate with project managers, project teams, builders, installers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and structural inspections.
• Provide construction support and respond to RFIs.
• Ensure the delivery of full-cycle projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in internal quality control and assurance processes.
• Mentor graduate and junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of full-time local experience (excluding part-time and internships).
• Solid engineering skills and experience in steel, timber, and concrete structures.
• Specialized experience in designing large commercial and industrial warehouses is highly regarded.
• Proficient in engineering design using first principles and tools.
• Competent in software applications, including SpaceGass and the MS Office suite; experience with FEM software, such as Strand7, is highly regarded.
• Good knowledge of geotechnical design for footings and foundations.
• Exceptional client communication skills.
• Well-organized with good time management abilities.
• Positive and proactive working attitude.
