Design & Build are currently looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer on behalf of a nationally recognised structural engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across Australia. You would be responsible for the structural design of buildings across commercial and high-rise residential projects.

What your day looks like:

• Create detailed structural designs based on project specifications for commercial and residential buildings.
• Perform structural analysis to assess the strength, stability, and durability of structures under various loads.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to communicate design concepts and ensure integrated solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship support to junior engineers within the team.
• Ensure engineering best practice and compliance with industry standards.

About you:

• 5+ years local experience as a structural design engineer in the buildings sector.
• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural design software such as SpaceGass, Structural Toolkit, Etabs, RAPT and RAM Concept.
• Strong client facing skills.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant Australian codes, standards and legislations.
