Kimberley Grande Resort is looking for a Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join our young team to work in our bar and restaurant.
The successful applicant will be hands-on, highly motivated and passionate individual with previous supervisory or management experience and excellent customer service skills to join our expanding team.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a working knowledge of delivering excellent customer service and leading a team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, tenacious and innovative person who is driven by exceptional hospitality service, highest standards and has a real passion for hotel and outback life.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Effectively lead and manage the food and beverage team
- Plan, forecast and execute food and beverage orders
- Process customer complaints patiently
- Check food and beverage supplies and place cost effective orders when needed
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards
- Ensure the restaurant is organised, dismantled every evening and cleaned
- Ensure all function enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner and assist where necessary
- Provide an exceptional customer experience for every customer
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Assist your staff where necessary including bar service
- Knowledge of beer line cleaning is preferable
- Oversee and supervise the welcoming of customers
- Strive towards exceptional customer experience
- Organise the restaurant or conference rooms for functions and/or bookings
- Liaise effectively with the Bar Manager, Manager and Head Chef to ensure all requirements are met
- Work as part of a team in conjunction with other leaders and managers
- Put stock orders away and organised
The ideal candidate will have:
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years+ experience in a similar supervisory role and excellent experience in a bar and restaurant
- Excellent hands-on approach and communication skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
- Have a Food Safety Certificate
- Available to work flexible shifts
- Rights to work full-time in Australia
- Excellent verbal, written communication and leadership skills
- Strong networking skills with the ability to increase and maintain key relationships
- Passion for exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Well-versed in social media use and the ability to assist in driving social media and digital marketing
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to promote the business
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- High standard of personal presentation and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in your approach
- Well experienced in operating a bar and restaurant
- Supervise the food and beverage delivery to functions and bus groups.
Qualifications Needed
- Hospitality Qualification
- Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Approved Managers Course in WA
- Food Safety Certificate
- Police Check
- IELTS Result and Skills Test if require sponsorship
