About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team at Mr Wolf Legal in West Melbourne. This full-time role will provide crucial support to an experienced lawyer with a litigation practice in employment law and WorkCover. As a Senior Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of our operations, contributing to the delivery of exceptional client service.

What you'll be doing

• Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, file management, and correspondence
• Assist with the organisation and coordination of client meetings, court appearances, and other important events
• Contribute to the maintenance of electronic file management, ensuring efficient document retrieval and record-keeping
• Liaise with clients, courts, and other external parties to gather information and facilitate the progression of legal matters
• Perform a range of other general office duties as required, such as answering phone calls and providing general assistance to the team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a legal environment. This is a role that requires legal assistant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of work
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
