- Part Time (0.8 FTE), permanent role. (Full time hours available for 12 months, then 0.8 FTE ongoing)

Right now, we’re seeking a Legal Assistant who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
As a Legal Assistant, you will work directly with our litigation team in coordinating and processing legal costs. You will provide accurate administrative and clerical support associated with file management and case preparation for Solicitors. You will be responsible for drafting high quality correspondence and court documents, diary management, liaising with third parties and general legal administration.
Success in this role is measured by your responsiveness, quality of legal support, effective communication, and adaptability. In return, you will be supported with opportunities for development and advancement.
About the Team
This role will see you working with a team of Legal Assistants and Lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment. Supported by a manager who is open and approachable, creating a culture where everyone feels heard and valued.
What we’re looking for
Strong organisational and communication Skills
Highly developed literacy, numeracy, written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to prioritise work and work under pressure and to tight time frames.
Demonstrated legal experience
Proven experience within a legal environment, preferably in a Legal Assistant role, and a demonstrated understanding of the legal system and litigation in personal injuries law.
Positive team player
Strong initiative with the ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.
