The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced personal injuries Legal Assistant or defendant insurance Legal Assistant to assist on workers compensation/common law matters. Your duties will include:

• Gather information
• Prepare Briefs for Counsel and Doctors
• Scanning and collating documents into categories
• Collate in chronological order and prepare indexes of brief context
• Liaising with internal and external parties to source relevant evidence
• Related administrative duties including processing of invoices, data entry, answering phones for the team and file management

Please note that this is a 6 month fixed term contract which may go permanent.

Your experience

To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 1 year Legal Assistant experience in Personal Injuries or Insurance Litigation.

The Law Firm / Salary

This is a rare opportunity to work as part of an inhouse legal team, for a recognised Australian brand. Free parking on site, flexible hours and have 200 staff at the Riverview office. Salary is commensurate with experience ($65,000 - $90,000 package including super). Also do yearly salary/performance reviews.
