You will gain a comprehensive understanding of our data quality products and present them to major clients and buyers in various industries. You will showcase the benefits of our products and be comfortable presenting them to individuals at all levels, from senior executives to junior buyers. You will attend shows one day, hold a webinar the next, jump on a Zoom meeting, all in an exciting and fast-paced environment. You are a real-life hero evangelizing the message of good data quality, saving companies money, and empowering increased efficiency in their day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Promotes the company's products/services while building long-term relationships with customers.
- Analyzes, explains, and sells the technical aspects of the solution to customers.
- Prepares and delivers presentations/demonstrations or solution proposals to prospective customers.
- Qualifies, manages, monitors prospect milestone activities, including demos, workshops, proof of concepts, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinates and organizes demand-generating activities like trade shows, marketing events, or customer workshops.
- Responsibilities include ensuring timely updates to the CRM of customer contact and activity data (e.g., names, titles, contact information, opportunity value, product information, sales stages, probability, business pain, firm-future commitments, etc.).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in the use of spreadsheets for analyzing sales performance against sales targets.
- Skilled in working with a CRM like HubSpot.
- Able to identify potential weaknesses and offer improvement suggestions.
- Skilled in negotiation and writing sales proposals.
- Able to learn new concepts and independently train.
- Skilled in public speaking.
- Able to cope with rejection and remain calm in fast-paced environments.
- Strong self-motivation, able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Superb interpersonal skills.
- A professional appearance.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two years of prior sales experience at a minimum.
