About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst with TAFE SA, you will play a key role in driving strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex business analysis programs. This role involves thorough technical and business analysis of complex systems, gathering and documenting requirements, and leading workshops to inform project direction. You will work closely with diverse project stakeholders to model business processes, recommend solutions, and identify risk mitigation measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex business analysis projects, including the requirements gathering process.
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing documentation, stakeholder interviews, and structured workshops.
- Perform advanced business process and information modelling to ensure project goals align with TAFE SA’s objectives.
- Provide consultancy in procurement, contract management, and risk assessment.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and represent projects across relevant committees.
Key Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience in complex business analysis, including strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, business process modelling, and future state design.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, project management principles, and knowledge of related government policy.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and document requirements effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise judgement and initiative.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- This role’s location is site specific, which may change due to the business needs of the role and the business needs of TAFE SA
- Some out of hours work will be required.
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
