The Blind Factory is a well-established retailer in the window furnishing industry.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focussed person to join our existing team in our Clyde office.

The role will be to assist with the efficient functioning of the small warehouse as well as overseeing the customer orders both in and out.

A commitment to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers is a prerequisite in performing your duties. The role will be varied and your tasks will require you to be in the warehouse as well as the office at different times.

It would be a real advantage if you have experience in the window furnishing industry and are familiar with the products, however this is not a necessity as on the job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and emails from customers
  • Pro actively solve customers issues and requests via exceptional customer service.
  • Allocating work load to the individual Installers.
  • Running status reports daily to monitor and manage the customer order workflow and timing through to completion
  • Entering customer orders
  • Taking and entering payments
  • Open and close the Office as necessary

Criteria:

  • An all round person with a positive attitude and ability to work with clients on the phone and in person
  • Physically fit to be able to undertake manual handling activities
  • High attention to detail and possess superior time management skills.
  • Punctual with the right attitude to get the job done
  • You must be highly proficient on a computer and adaptable to new software programs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and using software programs
  • Must have a proven record in customer service that demonstrates your ability to manage and resolve issues
