About the role
We are seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials and finished goods. You will work closely with the Materials Planning, Product Development, and Quality teams to support efficient production and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and minimize excess stock.
  • Supplier Relations & Procurement: Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships while negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Monitor market trends, analyze raw material pricing fluctuations, and collaborate with internal teams to forecast supply needs.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage import and export logistics through contracted freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in procurement, supply chain operations, and inventory control.
  • Financial & Budget Management: Monitor purchasing budgets, control costs, and conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and supplier agreements.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse supply chain data, identify trends, and drive cost-saving strategies.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and supply chain management tools.
  • Bilingual: in mandarin ideally as some of their suppliers are mandarin speaking but not essential
