About us

The Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH) is an independent coalition of individuals and organisations committed to working together to end homelessness in Western Australia. Since 2016, we have supported individuals, organisations, governments and local communities to work collaboratively across sectors to end homelessness – not just for individuals but for whole communities. The strength of the Alliance is its collective impact approach with aligned strategies and actions shaped by large multi-sector collaboration and active involvement by Alliance partners.

Advance to Zero (AtoZ) is a groundbreaking national initiative of the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH), of which the WAAEH is a partner, that supports local collaborative efforts to end homelessness, starting with rough sleeping – one community at a time. Using a range of proven approaches from around the world, communities are supported not just to address individual instances of homelessness, or even reduce overall homelessness, but to end it altogether.

There is now an exciting opportunity to lead the WA AtoZ team in continuing to progress and lead the strategic direction of the WA Advance to Zero (AtoZ) movement. The role will work closely with Government and Community partners, both national and international, to build on current commitments and funding opportunities and help to grow the movement in WA. You must be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, building and sustaining momentum for positive social change and is passionate about ending homelessness.

  • Design and facilitate workshops, presentations, and community forums to build capacity and knowledge.

  • Build and maintain strong networks with other Alliances, national and international partners committed to ending homelessness.
  • Represent and enhance the public profile of WAAEH and the AtoZ movement through advocacy and engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that values diversity and inclusion.
  • Contribute to organisational planning and strategy development.
